Role Overview

We are seeking a Captain for our Shophouse restaurant to uphold Shangri-La’s renowned guest service standards. This role involves delivering attentive and personalized service, managing guest feedback effectively, maintaining thorough knowledge of food and beverage offerings, and ensuring compliance with safety and hygiene protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide warm, customized guest service aligned with Shangri-La’s core values during daily Shophouse operations.
• Address guest concerns and service recovery issues promptly and with professionalism.
• Possess comprehensive knowledge of food, beverages, menu details, and service procedures.
• Strictly enforce hygiene, food safety, and workplace safety standards at all times.

Candidate Requirements

• Possession of a Certificate or Diploma in Hospitality, Food & Beverage, or a related field.
• At least one year of practical experience in Food & Beverage service.
• A strong enthusiasm for delivering excellent guest service and upholding hospitality standards.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fundamental understanding of food safety, hygiene, and established service procedures.
• Flexibility to work varying hours, including weekends and public holidays.
