Position Overview

Qatar Airways is seeking experienced Captains for their B747-8i fleet based in Doha, Qatar. The role demands outstanding flying proficiency, leadership, teamwork, and communication skills to manage flight operations effectively.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications

• Demonstrate superior flying abilities along with strong teamwork, interpersonal communication, and leadership capabilities.
• Maintain at least an ICAO Level 4 proficiency in English language.
• Hold a valid ICAO ATPL license.

Flight Experience Requirements

• Accumulate a minimum of 6,000 flying hours overall, with no less than 2,000 hours as Pilot-in-Command (PIC) on jet aircraft.
• Possess a B747-8i type rating or experience on B747 aircraft totaling at least 500 flying hours.
• Have prior command experience as Captain on B747 aircraft.
• Maintain a valid and unrestricted Class 1 Medical Certificate.
• Bring worldwide operational flying experience.
• TRI (Type Rating Instructor) or TRE (Type Rating Examiner) qualifications are advantageous.
• Experience with VIP or VVIP flight operations is preferred.
