Role Overview

We are seeking a versatile Camera Operator / Filmmaker who can seamlessly transition between managing multi-camera podcast recordings in our studios and independently conducting client-site filming assignments. This role requires confidence and adaptability in camera operation regardless of the project scale.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and operate multi-camera setups for in-studio podcast recordings.
• Ensure optimal audio quality by managing microphone setups, adjusting levels, and monitoring sound on set.
• Configure and maintain studio lighting suitable for each recording session.
• Oversee camera switching and recording throughout shoots, troubleshooting technical problems promptly.
• Travel to various client locations to independently capture branded content including b-roll, interviews, product/service showcases, behind-the-scenes, and short-form social media videos.
• Employ a creative and critical eye on location to identify ideal angles, lighting setups, and shots; adjust shot lists dynamically based on the environment and narrative requirements.
• Operate cameras, audio devices, and lighting equipment during field shoots efficiently.
• Engage professionally with clients in both Arabic and English to comprehend briefs, ask pertinent questions, and represent the company positively.
• Edit both long- and short-form footage, crafting thorough and polished final videos ready for publication.
• Perform color grading and audio enhancement to ensure consistent broadcast-quality standards.
• Add fundamental titles, lower-thirds, and motion graphic elements as needed.
• Organize and back up footage responsibly and adhere to PodcastHub’s file management and production workflow protocols.
• Meet deadlines reliably while balancing projects from both studio and client locations.

Requirements

• At least three years of practical experience operating cameras and shooting video, including multi-camera studio setups and solo field assignments.
• Proficiency in video editing software such as Premiere Pro, DaVinci Resolve, or Final Cut Pro.
• Firm understanding of audio recording practices and lighting on set; ability to assess take quality and correct issues proactively.
• Fluency in spoken and written Arabic and English with confident client communication skills in both languages.
• A demonstrable creative vision with a portfolio or showreel that reflects personal shot selection and editing style beyond technical skills.
• Ability to shift smoothly between structured studio sessions and independent external filming without close supervision.
• Possession of a valid UAE driving license is advantageous.
• Strong portfolio showcasing previous work in related roles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience managing multi-camera podcast or interview formats.
• Background creating branded or corporate videos for client businesses, including content tailored for platforms like Instagram and TikTok.
• Basic skills in motion graphics and graphic design.
