About Tata Electronics
Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is an emerging entity of the Tata Group focused on manufacturing high-precision components. It is a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd. dedicated to establishing India's first AI-powered advanced Semiconductor Foundry. This facility is designed to manufacture chips for diverse applications including power management ICs, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU), and high-performance computing logic. The produced semiconductors will support key industries such as automotive, computing, data storage, wireless communication, and artificial intelligence. The Tata Group operates worldwide across over 100 countries emphasizing leadership built on trust to improve living standards globally.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute calibration procedures and techniques effectively
- Coordinate timely calibration of equipment through external vendors, OEMs, or internal resources
- Diagnose and resolve calibration-related problems affecting equipment performance
- Maintain comprehensive calibration documentation for auditing
- Conduct regular dust particle count assessments
- Suggest and enact enhancements to calibration methodologies and processes
- Provide training and support to technicians on calibration practices
- Manage procurement, upkeep, and organization of calibration apparatus and tools
- Ensure adherence to quality standards and regulatory compliance throughout calibration activities
- Contribute to the development and execution of quality assurance measures for calibration
- Engage in ongoing improvements of calibration systems and protocols
- Liaise with suppliers to address calibration or equipment performance issues
- Deliver technical assistance concerning calibration tasks and equipment maintenance
- Perform periodic audits of production lines to verify calibration status and equipment functionality
Essential Skills and Knowledge
- Familiarity with ISO/IEC 17025:2017 quality standard
- Understanding of measurement uncertainty evaluation methods
Educational Qualifications and Experience
Applicants must possess a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree (BE/B.Tech) in Instrumentation, Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering disciplines. Candidates should have 2 to 5 years of professional experience working with Electrical, Thermal, RF, and Mechanical equipment calibration and maintenance.
