Job description
Role Overview
As a Calibration Engineer at Sirige Quality Laboratory Private Limited located in Bengaluru, Karnataka, you will be responsible for maintaining and calibrating precision measurement instruments to ensure accuracy and reliability in quality control processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain cleanliness, organization, and discipline in the Gauge Room, strictly following 4S principles to ensure a systematic work environment.
- Prepare and verify Ultra Low Measurement (ULM) devices and other precision measuring equipment for operational use.
- Verify calibration status, identification tags, and expiration dates of instruments prior to utilization to guarantee measurement accuracy.
- Conduct calibration routines on various gauges and measurement tools adhering to the approved Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions (WIs), alongside reference gauge drawings.
- Handle a range of instruments including but not limited to ULM, Dial Testers, Bench Centres, Profile Projectors, Vision Scopes, Height Gauges, Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), and Torque Testers.
- Employ calibrated master or reference standards to maintain traceability and ensure measurement precision.
- Accurately document calibration outcomes, and distinguish instruments as acceptable (OK), unacceptable (Not OK), or Out-of-Tolerance (OOT) based on measurements.
