Calibration Engineer

Overview

Apex Aerospace is experiencing rapid growth in both its client base and calibration services. We are seeking a versatile Calibration Engineer who possesses domain-specific expertise relevant to our industrial clients, including sectors such as Oil and Gas, Medical, and Hospitality.

The candidate must be capable of managing the entire calibration process independently — from engaging with customers and understanding their calibration needs, securing orders, executing calibrations, to generating certificates and invoices.

Responsibilities

• Conduct calibrations across a variety of parameters including Electrical, Torque, Mass, Force, Pressure, Dimensional, Temperature, Centrifuge, Vibration, and Pipettes.
• Maintain familiarity with ISO17025 standard protocols and related documentation pertinent to these calibration scopes.
• Demonstrate strong skills in data entry and the application of Microsoft Excel formulas for accurate certificate completion.
• Apply specialized knowledge of key industry domains such as Oil & Gas, Medical, and Hospitality.
• Perform on-site calibration tasks; possessing a valid driving license is highly advantageous.
• Analyze calibration items to diagnose faults and perform minor repairs alongside calibration activities.
• Leverage previous experience working within the calibration industry.

Qualifications

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation, Engineering, or a related discipline, preferably with a specialization in Electrical Engineering.
• A Master's degree in Instrumentation, Engineering, or an allied field with an Electrical focus is highly desirable but not mandatory.
• Exhibit excellent verbal and written English communication abilities.
