Cafe Supervisor - Peabodys Coffee

Overview

We are seeking a committed Cafe Supervisor to oversee daily operations at a prominent High Street cafe brand. This full-time role involves working 35 hours per week with variable shift schedules. The successful candidate will play a key role in maintaining high standards of quality and customer service while fostering a positive workplace culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify and promptly store all incoming deliveries accurately.
• Lead and supervise a team, encouraging a welcoming and supportive environment.
• Serve as a responsible key holder for the premises.
• Assist with weekly administrative tasks, including bookkeeping.
• Create weekly staff rotas in alignment with management directives.
• Manage stock levels by placing orders as needed.
• Delegate tasks effectively and motivate the team to be proactive.
• Ensure strict adherence to Food Handling and Hygiene standards.
• Comply with Health and Safety regulations to maintain a safe workplace.

Candidate Profile

• Experience in supervising frontline teams in a similar cafe or hospitality setting.
• Strong communication skills focused on delivering excellent customer service.
• A cooperative team player with a positive, can-do attitude.
• Ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining composure and positivity.
