Arak Dental Lab is a specialized facility dedicated to producing high-quality prosthetic and restorative dental solutions. Role Overview
This full-time position is based on-site in Sharjah and calls for a Dental Laboratory Technician responsible for fabricating dental prostheses such as crowns, bridges, implant bar work, and various dental appliances as specified by dental prescriptions. Daily duties involve interpreting dental orders, setting up and operating the laboratory equipment, and strictly upholding quality and safety protocols. Collaboration with dentists and team members is essential to clarify requirements, resolve technical challenges, and confirm each dental device meets both functional and aesthetic criteria. Maintaining a clean, well-organized workspace and adherence to laboratory and infection control procedures is mandatory.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possesses robust laboratory skills including material handling, dental lab equipment operation, and adherence to standardized protocols, with at least 6 years of experience.
- Fundamental understanding of dental technology involving the creation of crowns, bridges, and similar prosthetic devices.
- Familiarity with general dentistry concepts enabling interpretation of prescriptions and effective communication with dental professionals.
- Experience working as a technician in dental or medical lab settings, demonstrating precision and attention to detail.
- Expertise in design, setup, and adjustment specific to dental lab work.
- Holds a relevant technical diploma or certification in dental technology or related dental laboratory sciences.
- Capable of following detailed instructions, meeting deadlines, and managing multiple cases concurrently.
- Dedicated to maintaining hygiene, safety, and quality assurance protocols; possesses excellent manual dexterity and sharp vision.
- Displays professional communication skills and a teamwork-oriented approach with dentists and colleagues.
Minimum education
Diploma / ITI / Vocational
