Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced CAD Technician to join our team in Doha, Qatar. This role involves supporting engineering and construction groups by creating precise technical drawings and plans using CAD software while adhering to project specifications and design standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce detailed and precise drawings, layouts, and plans utilizing AutoCAD and other CAD programs.
• Convert conceptual designs and sketches into technical drawings that support engineering functions.
• Review and update existing drawings to accommodate design modifications and project changes.
• Collaborate with site teams to align drawings with onsite conditions and construction progress.
• Prepare drawings following client requirements and project guidelines.
• Maintain well-organized drawing archives and ensure easy access to current versions.
• Assist in compiling construction documentation, layout plans, and as-built drawings.
• Work closely with multiple engineering disciplines to deliver accurate and coordinated drawings.

Qualifications and Experience

• Diploma from a recognized institution in a related field.
• A minimum of 10 years of proven drafting experience on construction-related projects.
• At least 5 years' experience specifically on construction sites for environmental firms, demonstrating familiarity with site procedures.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and other CAD software tools.
• Fluent English communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong computer proficiency with various design applications.
