CAD Engineer

Role Overview

We are looking for a skilled CAD Engineer with 2 to 5 years of practical experience to become part of our vibrant engineering team. The successful candidate will create comprehensive 2D drawings and 3D models through popular CAD platforms, facilitating the design and production of premium quality products.

Key Duties

• Generate and refine accurate 2D blueprints and 3D models using CAD tools such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Creo.
• Convert conceptual ideas, sketches, and design specifications into precise technical drawings.
• Carry out assembly verification and conflict detection while adhering to standards like ASME and ISO.
• Perform fundamental tolerance studies and design enhancements.
• Document designs thoroughly, including Bills of Materials (BOMs).
• Assist prototyping and manufacturing processes by delivering appropriate drawing updates.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree or Post Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Design, or an allied discipline.
• Between two and five years of experience working as a CAD Engineer or Designer.
• Advanced skills in one or multiple CAD programs, including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Creo, or CATIA.
• Robust understanding of engineering fundamentals, including GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing).
• Keen eye for detail and a collaborative team-oriented mindset.

Preferred Skills and Credentials

• Previous exposure to industries like automotive, FMCG, or consumer electronics manufacturing.
• Relevant certification in CAD software or a related field.
