CAD Draftsman – Surveying

Job Overview

This role involves creating precise technical drawings derived from survey data, transforming field measurements into detailed digital plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Additionally, it includes developing models and drawings through Revit, mainly focusing on internal building surveys and as-built documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate drawings based on various survey types such as topographic, detailed, building, and structural surveys.
• Process survey data to produce accurate technical drawings via AutoCAD and Civil 3D.
• Develop project-related plans including survey, topographic, contour, profile, and section plans as per project needs.
• Create and update as-built and execution drawings reflecting survey outcomes.
• Produce drawings of internal building elements such as walls, openings, doors, windows, columns, levels, elevations, rooms, and existing architectural features.
• Translate internal survey data into As-Built BIM models using Revit when necessary.
• Review and verify drawing accuracy ensuring alignment with field data and project standards.
• Systematically organize and maintain all drawing files and survey data in line with project guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or allied disciplines.
• Hands-on experience in CAD drafting and producing surveying-related drawings.
• Advanced skills in AutoCAD and Civil 3D, especially for surveying and topographic illustrations.
• Competence in Revit for internal buildings and As-Built BIM modeling tasks.
• Ability to interpret engineering and surveying documentation effectively.
• Skilled at processing field data into accurate and organized technical drawings.
