Core Responsibilities

• Cut and prepare various meat products according to both customer requests and company standards.
• Provide superior customer service by sharing product knowledge to assist shoppers in making informed decisions.
• Keep the butchery display and pre-packaging areas impeccably clean and attractive, adhering to hygiene protocols.
• Manage stock rotation to maintain product freshness, quality, and availability.
• Prepare product samples and assist in promotional efforts.
• Handle deliveries and associated documentation with accuracy.
• Support broader store operations, contributing positively to team goals.
• Offer assistance and cover duties for the Store Manager as needed.

Candidate Profile

• Essential previous experience in a retail butchery environment.
• Strong expertise in butchery techniques focused on quality and presentation.
• Proven capability in delivering excellent customer interactions.
• Sound knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and legal regulations related to butchery.
• Advantageous experience in training or mentoring teammates.
• Confidence to assume supervisory responsibilities when required.
• Ability to work independently and prioritize effectively in a busy setting.
