Busser/Runner

Overview

The Busser/Runner position at ExplorUS plays a vital role in maintaining the cleanliness of the restaurant and bar, supporting smooth food delivery, and ensuring exceptional guest service. Reporting directly to the Restaurant Manager within the Food & Beverage department, this role demands a friendly, efficient approach to hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Warmly greet guests as they arrive and promptly provide required food accompaniments as per company protocols.
• Maintain clear and timely communication with servers and hosts to address guest needs and manage table availability for outstanding service.
• Ensure all alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages are served in compliance with federal, state, and local laws as well as company guidelines.
• Assist servers proactively to enhance guest experience.
• Complete daily and weekly cleaning duties thoroughly and professionally.
• Adhere to the company's ISO standards related to environmental, quality management, health, and safety policies, fulfilling responsibilities in those domains.
• Perform additional tasks as outlined in the Duties Checklist and upon request.

Requirements

• Must obtain ServSafe Certification following company policy requirements.
• Exemplary customer service capabilities coupled with strong interpersonal skills.
• Capability to follow instructions and swiftly adapt to changing tasks.
• Flexibility to work various shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Ability to endure long periods on feet in a fast-paced environment alongside close contact with coworkers and guests.

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or its equivalent is mandatory.
• Minimum of six months experience working within a restaurant setting.
