About the Role

The Business Development Specialist at Baraya Extended Care is tasked with identifying, nurturing, and driving growth opportunities within the healthcare sector, specifically focusing on inpatient and outpatient rehabilitation services. This role encompasses building referral networks, forging partnerships, conducting market analysis, and supporting strategic growth initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough market research to uncover new opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain a robust referral network and collaborate with hospitals, physicians, insurers, and healthcare partners.
  • Engage with stakeholders to establish partnerships and support contract negotiations.
  • Monitor business development activities, including tracking referrals, leads, and KPI progress.
  • Prepare business proposals, presentations, and comprehensive reports for senior management.
  • Coordinate efforts across clinical, operations, and finance teams to ensure alignment with growth objectives.
  • Represent Baraya at industry events, meetings, and conferences to promote services and expand reach.
  • Contribute to marketing and awareness campaigns to support service expansion.

Qualifications and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related discipline.
  • Professional certifications in sales, marketing, or healthcare management are advantageous.
  • Between 3 and 5 years of experience in business development, sales, or healthcare marketing.
  • Prior exposure to healthcare, rehabilitation, or medical service environments is preferred.
  • Familiarity with the Saudi healthcare market and payer frameworks is considered a plus.

Skills and Competencies

  • In-depth knowledge of business development and sales methodologies.
  • Understanding of healthcare referral processes and partnership frameworks.
  • Proficient in market analysis, business reporting, and delivering presentations.
  • Skilled negotiator with strong relationship-building capabilities.
  • Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Strong analytical thinking and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities.
  • Fluent in Arabic and English (written and spoken).
