Our team includes over 40 Google Cloud-certified professionals skilled in software, cloud, data engineering, and AI to deliver effective and sustainable solutions that address our clients' core challenges and efficiency needs.
Role Overview
We are seeking a motivated Business Development Specialist to join our expanding UK team based in London. This role is focused purely on outbound sales and represents the forefront of our UK expansion efforts. Responsibilities include generating a robust top-of-funnel pipeline through strategic outreach methods such as cold calling, custom email campaigns, and LinkedIn-driven social selling to engage with key decision makers. Ideal candidates will be commercially savvy, persistent, and passionate about promoting innovative Google Cloud, Workspace, and AI technologies. The role is full-time and hybrid, with a requirement to work onsite in our London office at least three days weekly for collaboration, coaching, and continuous learning.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage daily outbound prospecting activities, including comprehensive account research and identification of stakeholders.
- Implement multi-channel cold outreach strategies via email, phone, and social platforms.
- Connect with pivotal decision-makers to generate interest in cloud and AI offerings.
- Create personalized, compelling outreach messages alongside consistent follow-up communications.
- Lead initial discovery calls to identify business pain points and qualify potential clients.
- Arrange qualified meetings and coordinate closely with senior sales personnel for handover of opportunities.
- Maintain outbound pipeline, organize appointments, and ensure CRM data integrity.
- Engage in training on Google Cloud products, AI technologies, sales approaches, and messaging techniques.
- Represent the company professionally during interactions and at occasional industry events and trade exhibitions.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated interest in B2B technology sales, cloud services, and AI-based solutions.
- Proficiency and confidence in cold calls, emails, and social selling to engage new prospects and cultivate relationships.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with persuasive aptitude.
- Resilient, inquisitive, and willing to explore and refine outreach strategies.
- Strong organizational skills for managing daily sales activities and achieving targets.
- Self-driven with enthusiasm to develop a career in sales within a fast-evolving environment.
- Availability to work from the London office at least three days per week.
Employee Benefits
- Full-time workplace pension contributions.
- Access to professional development including cloud technology training, outbound sales methodologies, and transferable skills.
- Mentorship opportunities with senior sales and engineering team members.
- Exposure to commercial dealings within the Google Cloud and AI ecosystems.
- A supportive and inclusive workplace culture prioritizing employee wellbeing.
