About the Role
The Sales & Business Development Executive at our specialized Health and Stroke Rehabilitation Centre located in Kalyan Nagar, Bengaluru, is responsible for driving patient admissions and expanding the hospital's market presence specifically for neuro rehabilitation programs. Reporting directly to the Facility Director within the Business Development & Marketing Department, this role requires proactive engagement with healthcare professionals and community partners to promote inpatient, outpatient, home-based, and neuro-rehabilitation services.
Primary Responsibilities
- Implement sales strategies aimed at meeting monthly patient admission and revenue goals across all rehabilitation services.
- Develop and maintain strong referral networks with neurologists, neurosurgeons, trauma centers, and general physicians through regular in-person visits and formal agreements.
- Manage patient inquiries by clearly explaining care options and coordinating with clinical teams to ensure smooth patient assessments and onboarding processes.
- Plan and execute community outreach events including medical awareness camps, stroke education seminars, and participation in regional medical conferences.
- Establish partnerships with third-party administrators, insurance companies, and corporate organizations to facilitate covered rehabilitation programs and employee wellness initiatives.
- Conduct market research including competitor analysis and track key metrics such as inquiry conversion rates; maintain detailed CRM records and provide weekly performance updates to management.
- Ensure all marketing and promotional activities comply with healthcare regulations, patient privacy laws, and ethical standards.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in Healthcare Management, Business Administration, Marketing, Physiotherapy, Nursing, or Life Sciences is required; an MBA qualification is preferred.
- Between 2 to 5 years of relevant experience in hospital marketing, healthcare sales, medical device promotion, or clinical referral network development.
Key Skills and Competencies
- Demonstrated ability in medical network outreach and relationship management with strong negotiation skills.
- Thorough understanding of neurological and stroke rehabilitation care pathways.
- Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software, data reporting, and the Microsoft Office suite.
- Exceptional verbal communication, presentation, and a compassionate approach when engaging stakeholders and patients.
Work Schedule and Compensation
The position requires working six days a week, Monday through Saturday. Salary is competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience, with additional attractive incentives offered.
Performance Metrics
- Achievement of monthly patient admission and revenue targets.
- Expansion and retention of active clinical referral partnerships.
- Conversion rate of leads to admissions.
- Number of physician visits and community health initiatives conducted.
