About the Role
Join Playbook Group's dynamic logistics team as a Business Development Representative in Surrey, British Columbia. This full-time, in-office position involves regular outside sales and client meetings with a focus on growing business in the logistics sector. Candidates must reside in the Greater Vancouver area.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively generate new appointments through outbound prospecting efforts.
- Work closely with sales and marketing colleagues to identify and develop new business opportunities.
- Exemplify strong sales and influence skills, while also mentoring team members to enhance their selling techniques.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Minimum education: High school diploma.
- At least one year of experience in business development or sales related to transportation and logistics.
- Excellent communication abilities, along with effective time management skills.
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written, with exceptional interpersonal communication capabilities.
- Confidence with cold calling, in-person client interactions, and relationship-building efforts.
- Highly organized, goal-driven, self-motivated, and adept at problem-solving.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office suite—Outlook, Excel, and Word—and familiarity with CRM software is advantageous.
- Capable of working autonomously while making sound decisions in a fast-moving environment.
- Possession of a valid driver's license.
- Residency within the Greater Vancouver region is mandatory.

- Base salary ranging from $60,000 to $80,000 annually, dependent on experience.
