About PheedLoop and the Role

PheedLoop is a dynamic and rapidly expanding provider of innovative technology solutions for the global events sector, including conferences, trade shows, virtual events, and hybrid experiences. The company offers cutting-edge event management software and hardware such as self-check-in devices and smart badges, combined with a robust SaaS platform. Operating out of Toronto, this role is fully in-person and designed for candidates eager to engage directly with global brands and live events, developing genuine client relationships early in their career.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Research and identify potential target companies and key decision-makers within them, crafting tailored value propositions for engagement.
  • Execute multi-channel outbound campaigns via personalized cold emails, telephone outreach, and LinkedIn messaging to initiate contact.
  • Engage prospects through initial conversations to assess suitability and interest, then schedule discovery meetings for Account Executives.
  • Ensure seamless handover by recording detailed context and conversation notes for the sales team’s preparation.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date pipeline data within the CRM, tracking all prospect interactions and next steps.
  • Consistently meet or exceed daily activity targets and monthly goals for qualified meetings booked.

Candidate Profile and Qualifications

  • Motivated and resilient individuals who thrive on goal-setting and persist despite frequent rejection inherent in outbound sales.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to articulate clear, concise, and persuasive messages.
  • Openness to coaching, quick learner who readily incorporates feedback into practice.
  • Strong organizational skills to manage daily workflows, follow-ups, and CRM records without error.
  • A genuine curiosity about understanding client challenges and aligning product benefits accordingly.
  • Suitable for recent graduates or candidates with up to one year of professional experience; previous BDR roles not mandatory.

Additional Desired Attributes

  • Experience or internship exposure to technology startups, SaaS businesses, or fast-paced environments.
  • Familiarity with customer relationship management or sales engagement platforms, such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Outreach, Salesloft, or Apollo.
  • Interest or knowledge in the events industry is advantageous.

Personal Characteristics

  • Proactive self-starter who independently pursues objectives without constant supervision.
  • Comfortable initiating conversations with unfamiliar individuals through phone calls and digital channels.
  • Competitive mindset enjoying target achievement and continuous improvement.
  • Flexible in adopting and refining structured processes based on performance learnings.

Employee Benefits and Workplace Culture

  • Full employer-covered health insurance to support employee well-being.
  • Convenient office location with direct access to Toronto’s TTC subway for easy commuting.
  • Opportunities for team lunches, educational events, and social outings fostering personal growth and networking.
  • A vibrant and high-achieving culture that values ambition, collaboration, and meaningful contributions.

Additional Information

This is an early-career position emphasizing rapid personal development and meaningful impact within a small, agile team. Successful candidates will experience significant responsibility and exposure to shaping tools that power events for major global businesses.
