Job description
About LegalVision
LegalVision is a pioneering business in the commercial legal services sector, known for disrupting the market with its innovative approach. Our goal is to enable the success of businesses by offering legal support that is proactive, cost-effective, and commercially focused. We serve thousands of clients across the UK, Australia, and New Zealand, and continue to grow.
Unlike traditional law firms, LegalVision operates on a membership basis that encourages businesses to actively manage their legal concerns before problems occur. Our clients benefit from dependable, on-demand legal services designed to position them for long-term success.
The Opportunity
We are expanding rapidly and seek early-stage sales professionals to join us as Business Development Representatives (BDRs), critical in enhancing our outbound sales efforts. This role involves sourcing and qualifying new prospects, focusing on high-growth medium, mid-market, and enterprise businesses throughout England. It requires confidence in cold calling, a keen interest in business dynamics, and ambition to develop a robust sales pipeline that generates significant income.
This role suits proactive salespeople eager to gain experience in a dynamic startup environment. Successful candidates will have opportunities for mentoring and career growth within our Growth team, supported by clear targets and an uncapped commission scheme. All sales activities are based in our Ancoats office, with no hybrid work options available.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify prospects fitting our Ideal Client Profile through LinkedIn, CRM segmentation, and curated lead lists.
- Engage potential clients via cold calls, LinkedIn messages, and outbound emails to initiate conversations.
- Conduct qualification calls to explore client needs, pain points, timelines, and buying intent.
- Schedule high-quality meetings for Account Executives (Legal Solutions Consultants).
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of outreach activities in the CRM system.
- Collaborate on improving communication messaging, outreach sequences, and lead sourcing methods.
- Meet or exceed daily and weekly targets for calls, emails, and meetings arranged.
Candidate Profile
- Minimum six months experience in outbound sales or as a BDR; preference for background in B2B services, SaaS, or legal sectors.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities.
- Comfortable speaking with business owners and senior stakeholders, with skills in handling objections.
- High volume activity orientation and organized work approach.
- Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lusha, and CRM platforms.
- Interest in legal industry, sales development processes, and corporate environments.
- Right to work in England is required.
Benefits and Perks
- Competitive base salary combined with an uncapped commission scheme.
- Clear advancement pathways for high achievers within the company.
- Entitlement to 25 days of holiday annually, excluding bank holidays.
- Access to contractual sick pay, birthday leave, and enhanced maternity/paternity benefits.
- Annual health and wellness allowance to support employee wellbeing.
- Allocated budget for external training and professional development activities.
- Regular social events including team gatherings and celebrations.
