Role Overview
We are looking for a dynamic Business Development Representative to identify and engage new business prospects. This position requires a passionate, focused, and inquisitive individual who excels in relationship building and driving new business growth through effective communication.
Key Responsibilities
- Generate new leads using strategic sales approaches.
- Reach out to potential clients through cold calling, emailing, and innovative outreach methods.
- Communicate the value of our products by identifying client needs and recommending fitting solutions.
- Establish and maintain long-term trust-based relationships with prospects and clients.
- Continuously research potential markets and partnerships to uncover business opportunities.
- Follow up on dormant leads and existing clients to create new possibilities.
- Remain informed about product updates, services, and pricing options.
- Contribute insights toward enhancing our outbound sales strategy.
Required Qualifications and Attributes
- University degree, preferably in Commerce or STEM fields.
- Experience in customer-facing roles or service environments.
- Familiarity with sales metrics and how to apply them.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- A natural curiosity and high confidence.
