Job description
About beqom
beqom is an innovative B2B SaaS organization that delivers top-tier solutions for pay equity, compensation, and performance management. Trusted worldwide, beqom empowers HR and business executives to handle international compliance effectively and make insightful pay-related decisions to attract and retain exceptional talent. Established in Switzerland, beqom's robust enterprise-ready software is powered by advanced pay intelligence.
Role Overview
This position as a Business Development Representative (BDR) is crucial for growing beqom's US market pipeline. You will engage with senior HR and finance executives, initiating dialogues that progressively convert into revenue opportunities.
Key Responsibilities
- Make over 50 outbound cold calls daily, crafting outreach sequences that prompt responses.
- Connect with senior HR and finance leaders at organizations ranging from 1,000 to 50,000 employees.
- Qualify inbound leads generated from marketing campaigns, events, and regulatory changes like the EU Pay Transparency Directive and various US state laws.
- Collaborate with Account Executives to build and maintain a pipeline involving complex Fortune 500 deals.
- Continuously experiment by testing new outreach approaches, tools, and angles to optimize engagement.
Candidate Requirements
- Between one and three years of experience in sales, BDR, SDR, or customer-facing roles, preferably in SaaS or B2B technology environments, with internships considered.
- Fluent written English skills and confidence in speaking with senior leaders over the phone.
- A proactive self-starter mindset, managing your pipeline like a business rather than a simple task list.
- Resides in Germany and comfortable working remotely.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience experimenting with AI tools such as Claude, Clay, Apollo, or n8n, and forming evaluative opinions about their effectiveness.
- Ability to compose engaging outbound messaging that avoids sounding templated.
- Involvement in side projects, newsletters, open-source contributions, or social media content creation that demonstrates a builder mentality.
- Familiarity with sales and outreach platforms like HubSpot, Lemlist, Outreach, Nooks, Zoominfo, or LinkedIn Sales Navigator.
Daily Tools and Technology
You will be working with HubSpot, Lemlist, Nooks (a parallel dialer), LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Gong, Slack, and Google Workspace, along with an allocated budget for testing new AI tools to advance outreach effectiveness.
Why Work at beqom?
- Authentic ownership: You will have the opportunity to co-create the US outbound sales approach, rather than following pre-made scripts.
- Valuable exposure: Engage with senior leaders from Fortune 500 companies starting from your first month, laying a solid foundation for an enterprise sales career.
- Meaningful impact: Contributing to selling compensation software that supports fair and transparent pay systems on a large scale.
