Job description

About LiveEO

LiveEO is an innovative startup established in 2018 centered in Berlin that merges space technology and artificial intelligence to provide satellite-based monitoring solutions. We assist infrastructure operators and industrial clients in optimizing operations, making them safer, more sustainable, and more effective. Our goal is to monitor one billion assets globally by 2030 through our distinctive SaaS platform with a diverse international team of approximately 160 professionals.

Role Overview

As a strategic and driven Business Development Representative (BDR), you will play a vital role in expanding LiveEO's presence across Australia and the broader APAC region. This predominantly outbound-focused position involves identifying and engaging with key stakeholders in established companies, working closely with sales and marketing teams, and representing LiveEO at major industry events across Australia, New Zealand, and other APAC countries.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct targeted prospecting and lead generation by researching high-value accounts utilizing tools such as LinkedIn Sales Navigator, Lemlist, and AI-powered intent data to map complex organizational frameworks.
  • Manage regional coverage encompassing diverse markets with varying business cultures, from developed nations like Australia and Japan to rapidly growing economies such as Indonesia, requiring flexibility around multiple time zones.
  • Execute omnichannel outreach strategies including emails, calls, and social media to engage potential customers with creative and tailored communications.
  • Qualify leads by analyzing their business needs and potential fit to ensure discovery calls are meaningful and productive.
  • Represent LiveEO at conferences and trade shows (up to 50% travel), interacting face-to-face to convert casual interest into actionable pipeline opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with Account Executives to develop territory plans and provide deep account insights that support winning complex enterprise deals.
  • Maintain high-quality records of interactions within the CRM system (HubSpot) and utilize data analytics to refine messaging and improve conversion rates.
  • Achieve or exceed targets related to meetings arranged and deals generated.
  • Provide regular progress updates to management regarding pipeline growth and other relevant metrics.
  • Support various ancillary tasks such as exhibition booth preparation, market-specific collateral adaptation, and providing additional research to support sales efforts.

Candidate Profile

  • 1 to 2 years of experience in business-to-business SaaS sales, preferably involving enterprise customers, with an understanding of extended sales cycles.
  • Strong outbound sales mentality, comfortable initiating cold contacts and handling rejection constructively.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders effectively through multiple channels.
  • Proficient with modern sales technology including HubSpot, Lemlist, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and keen to utilize AI-powered sales tools.
  • A growth-oriented individual eager to develop a career in SaaS sales.
  • Readiness to travel frequently and adapt working hours to suit different regional time zones.

Benefits & Culture

  • Opportunity to influence strategic business direction while working with cutting-edge SaaS and AI technologies impacting global business processes.
  • Join a rapidly expanding global enterprise with a multicultural workforce from over 30 nationalities.
  • Flexible scheduling that encourages a healthy work-life balance.
  • Autonomy and responsibility to shape processes, drive innovation, and contribute suggestions.
  • Culture promoting continuous professional growth via workshops, knowledge exchanges, clubs, and hackathons.
  • Competitive pay coupled with options for participation in company ownership through a Virtual Employee Stock Option Plan.
  • Comprehensive wellness benefits including life insurance.
  • Commitment to diversity and inclusion encouraging candidates from all backgrounds to apply.
