We are seeking an enthusiastic, food-passionate Business Development Manager to expand our footprint throughout the city. This position primarily targets new customer acquisition in a growth market, involving initiating contact, nurturing relationships with restaurant owners and hospitality leaders, and converting prospects into committed partners.

Role Description
As Perth's Business Development Manager, your mission is to build and broaden First Table's restaurant network. You'll focus on prospecting, engaging potential restaurant partners, recognizing their business needs, and demonstrating how First Table can enhance their operations. You will oversee the entire sales cycle from initial discussion to partnership and onboarding, spending considerable time in the market meeting stakeholders. You will leverage local insights and competitor information to identify promising opportunities.
Expect strong support from a skilled team, clear procedures, and regular coaching, balanced with the freedom to manage your market independently.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead growth within the Perth region by acquiring new restaurant partners.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline via active prospecting, networking, and strategic territory planning.
- Convert prospects into customers by understanding their unique needs and articulating our platform's value effectively.
- Manage opportunities from initial contact through successful onboarding and launch.
- Establish and nurture long-lasting relationships with restaurant owners and hospitality groups.
- Monitor Perth's hospitality sector and competitors to pursue emerging opportunities.
- Work in coordination with the wider First Table team to ensure excellent partner experiences.
Candidate Profile
- Demonstrated achievements in business development, field sales, partnerships, or other client-facing sales roles with a strong emphasis on acquiring new customers.
- Proven ability to proactively generate leads and convert them into loyal clients.
- Strong interpersonal skills with confidence in quickly building rapport and influencing decision-makers.
- Hospitality industry knowledge is highly advantageous; existing connections within Perth's restaurant community are a bonus.
- Self-motivated with a commercial mindset; skilled at working independently and initiating opportunities.
- Enthusiastic about engaging prospects with new solutions and diligent in following through to closure.
- Holds a valid Australian driver's license and has access to a dependable vehicle.
- A positive, can-do attitude and commitment to growth.
