Job Overview

Wealthright Investment Services LLP is seeking a Business Development Manager for their Kolkata location within the BFSI sector focusing on Mutual Fund Distributor B2B sales. The selected candidate will support the development and expansion of the Mutual Fund Distributor Sales Team, lead NISM certification facilitation, and provide ongoing operational assistance to grow the advisor network and increase revenue through structured training and mentoring.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a pipeline by generating 30 to 40 qualified business prospects monthly to recruit Team Coaches.
• Assist Team Coaches with obtaining mandatory NISM certification and conduct induction and product training sessions.
• Onboard between 8 and 12 new active Mutual Fund team members each month using presentations and career planning.
• Drive business by ensuring new members generate sales within 30 to 45 days.
• Support sales growth and assets under management (AUM) expansion through coaching, field visits, and reviews.
• Meet monthly targets by monitoring team productivity, implementing corrective measures as needed.
• Maintain distributor engagement and retention through meetings, development initiatives, and recognition programs.

Role Requirements

• Minimum educational qualification: Graduate degree. MBA in Finance is preferred but not mandatory.
• Mandatory possession of NISM VA or VD certification.
• Experience range: 2 to 8 years in Mutual Fund distribution sales or insurance agency channel.
• Age preference: up to 42 years.
• Possession of a two-wheeler is preferred but not essential.
• Open to both male and female candidates.

Compensation

The monthly package is in the range of INR 20,000 to 35,000 based on market standards.
