About the Role
Join a globally recognized leader specializing in AI-driven safety and computer vision technologies tailored for the transport and mobility industry. This company is the foremost provider of driver monitoring solutions for commercial fleets, with their technology implemented across over 1,100 transport and logistics businesses worldwide and maintaining a strong foothold in Australia. With upcoming reforms under the 2026 Heavy Vehicle National Law shifting the sector from reactive compliance to proactive safety management, there is a strategic expansion of the commercial team in the Aftermarket division to leverage these developments.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and cultivate new business opportunities within commercial fleet operators, transport, and logistics companies.
- Maintain and develop a robust pipeline of qualified prospects through both proactive outreach and handling inbound leads.
- Deliver engaging product demonstrations and presentations tailored to safety officers, fleet managers, and financial decision-makers.
- Effectively position the company's technology in alignment with Chain of Responsibility (CoR) legislation, NHVR fatigue management standards, and the upcoming Heavy Vehicle Accreditation framework.
- Lead negotiations on commercial terms and oversee the sales process through to successful closure.
- Establish and nurture enduring relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders in the transport sector.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client engagements.
- Collaborate closely with the Guardian Centre operations team, marketing, and customer success departments to ensure a seamless transition after sales completion.
Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrable success in B2B sales or business development, preferably in technology or SaaS product sales.
- Adept at engaging with both commercial stakeholders and technical/safety personnel.
- Strong capability in managing sales pipelines and accurate forecasting.
- Excellent communication and negotiation prowess.
- Willingness to travel as required within the assigned territory.
- Familiarity with or readiness to swiftly understand Australian transport safety regulations, including CoR, NHVR, and HVNL.
Benefits and Opportunities
- Competitive fixed salary complemented by an uncapped commission plan.
- Comprehensive benefits package.
- Opportunity to work with the industry-leading company amidst a regulatory environment that encourages growth.
- Significant autonomy and ownership over your sales territory.
