About the Company

We are seeking an experienced and technically knowledgeable Business Development Manager to expand and strengthen our presence throughout the DACH region, initially focusing on Germany before extending to Austria and Switzerland. This role is designed for a proactive individual who combines a genuine interest in technology with the drive to identify new business opportunities, craft tailored client solutions, and finalize strategic agreements.

Job Role and Responsibilities

  • Lead new business development activities across the entire DACH region.
  • Discover, evaluate, and pursue opportunities within manufacturing, technology, financial services, and enterprises engaging in AI adoption and modernization initiatives.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process, from the initial contact through negotiations to closing deals.
  • Collaborate with practice and delivery teams to design and refine specialized, value-driven offerings for the German market.
  • Coordinate pre-sales efforts with solution architects and technical specialists.
  • Establish and maintain local partnerships with key players like AWS, Databricks, and Microsoft.
  • Prepare detailed proposals, commercial offers, and client presentations.
  • Oversee RFI/RFP processes and manage bidding activities.
  • Maintain a well-organized sales pipeline within CRM systems and meet revenue targets.
  • Represent the company at various industry events and client meetings across the region.

Required Qualifications and Skills

  • Over 5 years of experience in B2B business development, sales, or key account management within IT services, consulting, or enterprise technology sectors.
  • Strong hunter mentality with proven ability to develop new business relationships and open accounts.
  • Solid understanding of software development, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence technologies.
  • Experienced in value-oriented and consultative sales approaches for complex service offerings.
  • Familiar with the enterprise purchasing practices within the German market.
  • Fluent in German at a native level and proficient in professional English communication.
  • Ability to work independently with a structured and self-motivated approach.
  • Capability to establish and grow a market presence autonomously.

Desirable Additional Qualifications

  • Existing professional network within manufacturing, technology, or financial services sectors.
  • Knowledge of regulatory frameworks such as CRA, NIS2, and the EU AI Act.
  • Previous experience engaging with hyperscalers, consulting firms, or professional service organizations.
