Job description
Role Summary
As a Business Development Executive at broadbandbuyer.com, you will play a vital role supporting the Head of Business Development to enhance growth across both customer and manufacturer networks. This is a practical, learning-oriented position meant to develop your commercial expertise and establish a foundation for a future career in business development.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with spotting new business prospects within existing customer segments.
- Conduct research on market trends, competitor activities, and product landscapes to inform strategic plans.
- Help prepare proposals, presentations, and supporting business cases.
- Maintain and update the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate tracking and reporting of opportunities.
- Support the management and strengthening of customer and manufacturer connections.
- Respond promptly to partner inquiries, ensuring professional communication.
- Regularly engage with accounts to assure satisfaction and discover growth opportunities.
- Collect and relay partner feedback to internal teams.
- Collaborate with sales, marketing, technical, and operations teams to maximize partner value.
- Ensure timely, precise data entry into CRM systems.
- Generate reports and summaries regarding activities, opportunities, and performance for leadership review.

- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Self-driven, eager to learn, and proactive in taking initiative.
- Competent with Microsoft Office Suite; familiarity with CRM software is advantageous.
- Possession of a full UK driving license.
