Business Development Executive (BDE)

About the Role

We are looking for Graduate Freshers to join our team as Business Development Executives at SBI General Insurance. This position is based in an SBI branch office located in regions like North 24 Parganas, Darjeeling, and Uttar Dinajpur. The role involves in-person customer interaction and occasional visits to client sites for product discussions and deal finalizations.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing walk-in customers at SBI branch offices effectively.
• Explaining and promoting SBI Health Insurance products to customers.
• Establishing and nurturing relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Discovering and developing new business prospects.
• Demonstrating and training customers on product usage and benefits.
• Achieving and surpassing assigned sales goals.
• Working closely with various teams to meet organizational targets.
• Traveling to client locations as necessary to provide product details and close deals.

Candidate Requirements

• Applicants must be between 18 to 27 years old.
• Educational qualifications accepted include graduates from any discipline, 3-year diploma holders, and B.Voc graduates.
• Open to fresh graduates and those with less than one year of experience without PF contributions.
• Strong communication skills are essential.
• Applicants currently apprenticed under contracts with other firms are not eligible.
• Both male and female candidates are encouraged to apply.

Working Conditions and Benefits

• Work schedule consists of 6 days per week with one rotational weekly off.
• Compensation includes a fixed salary of INR 13,500 per month plus performance incentives.
• Additional allowances are granted based on business performance.
• Weekly offs and holidays follow the bank's official calendar.
