About the Role
Based in Kaurna/Elizabeth, South Australia, this full-time ongoing role as a Business Development Consultant at MatchWorks offers a salary range of $65,000 to $72,000 plus superannuation and not-for-profit salary packaging benefits. The employment package includes 20 days of annual leave, 13 days of personal leave, plus an additional 10 paid wellbeing leave days annually. This position operates primarily in the North Metro area and requires a willingness to travel.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and nurture enduring relationships with employers across diverse industry sectors to secure sustainable and tailored employment opportunities aligned with participants’ abilities and career goals.
- Proactively engage in reverse marketing and cold calling local employers to promote participants’ skills and experience, thereby facilitating mutually advantageous employment arrangements.
- Collaborate with employers to develop inclusive and customized employment solutions addressing both business objectives and participant outcomes, while striving to meet KPIs and placement targets.
- Advise on inclusive recruitment practices, workplace accommodations, and the benefits of employing individuals facing employment barriers, fostering awareness and adoption within the community.
- Support participants and employers post-placement to enhance job retention, resolve workplace challenges, monitor progress, and promote sustained employment success.
Qualifications and Experience
- Demonstrated background in recruitment, sales, or business development, paired with a strong drive to meet and surpass set KPIs.
- Proficient in establishing networks and developing business relationships to generate lasting job opportunities.
- Excellent communication and advocacy capabilities, skilled at building rapport, influencing stakeholders, and championing inclusive employment.
- Capable of analyzing labour market trends and possessing strong digital literacy, including competence in Microsoft Office and case management software.
- Possession of an NDIS Worker Screening Check and Orientation Module Certificate is required, with support provided to obtain these certifications.
