Business Developer (Large Accounts)

Overview

DATAVILLAGE SA is seeking an experienced Business Developer specialized in managing and expanding the company's strategic large accounts as part of its growth strategy. The role is based in Abidjan, Côte d'Ivoire.

Key Responsibilities

• Grow revenue by acquiring and managing major clients.
• Spot and capitalize on new business opportunities including prospecting, partnerships, and exploring new markets.
• Analyze clients' needs and recommend high-value IT solutions.
• Lead commercial negotiations through to contract signing.
• Actively engage in bid responses and tender processes.
• Collaborate closely with technical teams to ensure solution alignment.
• Maintain client follow-up, satisfaction, and loyalty.

Requirements

• At least a bachelor's degree plus four years of study in fields like Commerce, Marketing, Management, IT, or equivalent.
• Minimum of five years' experience in business development and ICT solutions sales.
• Strong expertise in IT solutions such as infrastructure, networks, cybersecurity, cloud services, and managed services.
• Excellent skills in hunting for new business and managing key strategic accounts.
• Proficient negotiation and deal-closing abilities.
• Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
• Competent in CRM software and commercial reporting tools.
• Good knowledge of the local IT market.
