This role will focus on advancing an AI-driven solution tailored for the council’s resource and building consenting services. The position involves providing seasoned business analysis expertise to link operational demands, compliance mandates, and technical execution effectively. Collaborating with external suppliers and internal divisions, you will translate intricate business needs into detailed requirements, optimize processes, and conceptualize feasible solution designs to improve consenting outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the examination and restructuring of current and future resource and building consenting workflows, aiming to enhance, simplify, and automate service delivery.
  • Collect, formalize, and rank business, technical, and functional needs to ensure the Anori solution and its integration with council systems meet operational and regulatory criteria.
  • Organize and facilitate workshops, engaging with consenting, technology, data teams, vendors, and other stakeholders to validate requirements, solve challenges, and drive projects forward.
  • Evaluate impacts across personnel, processes, technology, and operational methods; support business readiness, testing phases, solution confirmation, and measurement of anticipated benefits.

Candidate Profile

Basic competency in everyday te reo Māori and respect for tikanga Māori are also required.
