Business Analyst

Role Overview

This position involves gathering and thoroughly documenting requirements from clients in the banking and financial sectors, converting them into precise Business Requirement Documents (BRD) and user stories. The candidate will analyze and design process models representing both the current state ("As Is") and the desired future state ("To Be") of business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop business rules and decision matrices related to credit strategies such as origination, pricing, limits, and collections that can be implemented within the platform.
• Create acceptance test scenarios and guide clients through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to obtain final approval.
• Collaborate closely with the data science team to translate model outputs, including scorecards and recovery prioritization, into functional requirements and dashboards for monitoring purposes.
• Document and share status reports, meeting summaries, and records of scope and change requests.
• Conduct workshops for clients and present tailored solutions to their business units.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Computer Science, Accounting, Finance, or related disciplines.
• Minimum of two years of direct experience in business analysis, ideally within banking, finance, or technology firms serving those sectors.
• Comprehensive understanding of the credit lifecycle stages, including application, verification, decision-making, monitoring, delinquency, and collections.
• Proficiency in preparing client-facing requirement documents in both Arabic and English languages.
• Competence in using SQL to query and validate data independently.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel along with documentation tools such as Jira, Confluence, Visio, or equivalents.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with credit decision platforms, loan origination, or collections systems.
• Familiarity with SIMAH reports and products from credit bureaus.
• Proficiency in Power BI or comparable data visualization tools.
• Exposure to Agile methodologies in previous roles.
