Business Analyst

Overview

We represent a professional services firm seeking a Business Analyst dedicated to enhancing decision-making through data analysis, reporting, and optimizing business processes. Ideal candidates come from backgrounds such as data analytics, consulting, advisory, or commercial analysis and excel in collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business challenges into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities

• Interpret business and operational datasets to detect patterns, risks, and growth opportunities, delivering actionable business insights.
• Create and update dashboards and reports to enable leadership and teams to monitor performance regularly.
• Gather, verify, clean, and organize data from diverse sources to enhance data quality and usability.
• Conduct specialized analyses supporting strategic projects, business plans, client engagements, and continuous process improvement.
• Deliver complex analytical findings in an accessible format tailored to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Support improvements in data governance, reporting workflows, and analytical standards across the organization.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in fields like Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Systems, or similar.
• Between four and six years’ experience in roles involving data analytics, business intelligence, consulting, or other analytical capacities.
• Prior work experience in professional services, consulting, financial services, or corporate sectors is advantageous.
• Proficient in SQL and Excel, with additional knowledge of Python or R considered a plus.
