Business Analyst (Fedwire)

Job Overview

This role involves applying foundational expertise in ISO 20022 messaging standards and payment protocols within the banking sector. The candidate will be responsible for translating client requirements into detailed business and functional specifications while collaborating closely with technical teams to ensure alignment with industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities

• Possess solid knowledge of ISO 20022 message types and flows such as pain.001/.002/.008/.013/.014, pacs.002/.004/.008/.009, camt.027/.029/.030/.031/.054/.056/.087, and admi.004.
• Understand multi-scheme, multi-bank, and multi-currency transaction models including schemes like SEPA, SCT Inst, UKFP, and XCT, along with routing and settlement mechanisms.
• Manage status tracking, acknowledgements, returns, cancellations, and claim flows effectively.
• Work as a Business Analyst specializing in the banking domain, preferably with knowledge of payment frameworks like FIS OPF.
• Engage with clients directly to clarify and gather requirements through strong oral and written communication.
• Analyze and document business needs and convert them into functional application specifications.
• Collaborate extensively with architects and developers to design APIs and integration methods meeting business and technical standards.
• Create comprehensive documentation including user stories, process flows, integration mapping, and use cases.
• Ensure all solutions comply with relevant banking industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Utilize requirements management tools, with a preference for Jira.

Eligibility
