Role Overview

As a Business Analyst, you will spearhead the creation, analysis, and dissemination of commercial reports covering multiple departments including Rooms, Food & Beverage, and Spa. You will develop and enhance automated reporting tools and dashboards to bolster business insights and decision-making. Your analysis will span key commercial performance indicators such as Occupancy, ADR, RevPAR, and market share. Delivering detailed trends, forecasts, pace reports, and business intelligence will be pivotal to identifying growth opportunities and risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and distribute various commercial performance reports on daily to ad hoc frequency.
  • Create and upgrade automated analytical tools and dashboards to increase operational visibility.
  • Analyze essential business KPIs including occupancy rates and revenue metrics for multiple departments.
  • Develop forecasting models, pace reports, and conduct pickup analysis to inform strategy.
  • Offer actionable insights to support Revenue Management, Sales & Marketing, Finance, and Hotel Operations for enhancing revenue and profitability.
  • Maintain data integrity and accuracy across all commercial systems.
  • Build advanced Excel models for budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning purposes.
  • Present analysis and recommendations to senior leadership clearly and effectively.
  • Promote a culture emphasizing data-driven decision-making throughout the hotel.
  • Establish and manage rate plans to ensure precise pricing and distribution across channels.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and demand to identify revenue opportunities.
  • Conduct audits of revenue management systems to assure availability accuracy.
  • Implement pricing, inventory, and restriction strategy changes responsive to business demand.
