Business Analyst

Overview

AvePoint is recruiting a Business Analyst experienced in enterprise software solutions to work within our Education Technology division.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather and articulate requirements for product development initiatives.
• Document and assess current and future business workflows, producing deliverables like Business Requirements Documents, Use Cases, and user interface designs.
• Convert technical jargon into accessible language to ensure clarity for both technical and business stakeholders.
• Engage proactively with internal and external parties to understand information needs and define functional requirements.
• Work alongside developers and experts to shape the technical direction and evaluate compromises between usability and system performance.
• Assist project and product managers with planning aspects such as deliverables, scope, and timelines.

Candidate Profile

• Background in Computer Science, Engineering, or related disciplines is preferred.
• Proven experience analyzing and documenting intricate business processes and software requirements.
• Skilled in requirements gathering and creating As-Is and To-Be process documentation.
• Strong analytical and project management capabilities, with aptitude for interpreting customer business needs into technical solutions.
• Excellent communicator, able to engage with executives, managers, and subject experts professionally.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office tools including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Capable of managing multiple tasks effectively.
• Knowledge or interest in the education sector is advantageous.
