Job description
Role Overview
The Business Analyst will be instrumental in driving the Deployment and day-to-day operations of the DWS SEA Platform solutions. This role involves close collaboration with Deployment, Product, Engineering, and Customer teams to translate business objectives into technical implementations and continuous operational improvements through data-driven insights.
Key Duties
- Collaborate with Deployment teams to oversee the entire customer onboarding process for SEA Platform solutions.
- Work alongside Product, Engineering, and Customer/Account representatives to capture and interpret onboarding requirements.
- Convert customer business requirements into detailed technical specifications and actionable implementation strategies.
- Develop and maintain user stories, onboarding workflows, and acceptance criteria related to deployment efforts.
- Create process maps, system diagrams, and comprehensive onboarding documentation utilizing tools such as Visio or equivalents.
- Serve as the communication bridge between technical staff and customer-facing teams to ensure seamless onboarding.
- Assist in configuring and integrating platform elements within client environments.
- Evaluate solution effectiveness by analyzing performance metrics, customer engagement, and product usage to identify areas for enhancement.
- Pinpoint and spearhead automation initiatives to streamline onboarding and deployment workflows.
- Engage within IT Service Management and Service Desk frameworks to address incidents, service requests, and changes related to onboarding.
- Participate actively in Agile framework ceremonies to synchronize efforts between deployment and development units.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Technical proficiency supported by a degree in Informatics or a minimum of five years' experience working with IT solutions.
- Possession of NV1 security clearance is mandatory.
- Comprehensive understanding of IT Service Desk operations including support procedures, incident and request management, and operational workflows.
- Strong analytical capabilities to interpret product and onboarding data metrics.
- Demonstrated success in Business Analyst roles focused on onboarding, implementation, or deployment.
- Ability to translate client requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Experience with process mapping and diagramming software like Visio.
- Skilled in creating detailed user stories and technical documentation.
- Knowledge of IT Service Management platforms such as ServiceNow, Freshworks, or BMC Helix.
- Familiarity with APIs and system integration techniques.
- Understanding of Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) principles and modern software development methodologies.
- Experience with AI technologies, particularly tools and solutions involving Large Language Models (LLMs), is advantageous.
