About the Role

As a bus driver, you will engage in a diverse set of daily tasks, working close to your residence to guarantee safe and comfortable trips for passengers while maintaining composure during challenges. The position is open immediately for the SBG SüdbadenBus GmbH locations including Bad Krozingen, Elzach, Freiburg im Breisgau, Gutach im Breisgau, Rust, and Titisee-Neustadt areas. New drivers or those unfamiliar with routes will receive thorough onboarding.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate buses punctually and safely on scheduled line and school routes.
• Provide passengers with information and advice regarding schedules, fares, and connecting services.
• Manage ticket sales and conduct fare inspections.
• Perform checks on vehicle readiness, including technical systems.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness before and after trips.

Candidate Profile

• Completed vocational training as a professional driver or possession of a valid bus driver license class D or DE.
• Valid qualification under the Professional Driver Qualification Act (BKrFQG), demonstrated by a “95” code on the driving license or a driver qualification certificate.
• Strong command of the German language, both spoken and written.
• Willingness to work shifts that may include nights, weekends, and public holidays.
• Customer-oriented, flexible, and reliable work attitude.
