Job Overview
2Coms Consulting Pvt Ltd. is seeking a responsible and skilled Bus Driver based in Chennai, Tamil Nadu. This role involves safely driving large passenger buses along designated routes while ensuring passenger safety and comfort. Candidates will participate in walk-in interviews scheduled for 25th August in Hyderabad.
Responsibilities
- Operate large buses on assigned routes securely and responsibly.
- Begin with route bus operations, with potential progression to express and chartered bus driving based on experience and performance.
- Adhere strictly to designated routes, schedules, traffic laws, and safety standards set by the company.
- Guarantee passenger safety and comfort during transit.
- Perform routine vehicle checks and promptly report any mechanical issues or irregularities.
- Participate in basic bus cleaning and maintenance tasks as needed.
- Complete all required theoretical and practical training for bus driving.
- Acquire knowledge of Japanese driving procedures, traffic regulations, and operating standards.
- Work according to allocated shifts including early morning and late hours.
- Maintain professional communication with passengers, colleagues, and supervisors.
- Comply with all company policies and workplace safety protocols.
Requirements
- Possession of at least one year of a valid passenger car driving license at the time of interview.
- Preferably hold more than three years of driving license experience; applicants with less experience are eligible and will receive supplementary training.
- Clear mandatory medical examination as specified by the employer.
- Ability and willingness to work on rotating shifts, encompassing early mornings and late nights.
- Physical and mental fitness adequate to safely perform bus driving duties.
- Past experience as a professional bus driver or heavy vehicle operator is considered advantageous.
Additional Information
The interview is scheduled as a walk-in on the 25th of August in Hyderabad. Candidates must be prepared to pass all medical and training requirements. Shift work involves varying hours, including early and late shifts.
Compensation
The monthly salary ranges from INR 35,000 to INR 40,000.
