Role Overview
As a Building Painter, you will be engaged full-time on-site in the Riyadh area. Your primary duties involve surface preparation, paint mixing and matching, and applying various coatings on walls, ceilings, facades, and other building components using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment. Daily responsibilities include protecting adjacent surfaces by taping and covering, fixing minor surface defects, applying primers and finishing coats, and ensuring even, precise coverage with clean lines. Maintenance of painting tools and adherence to safety protocols are also key parts of your role. Collaboration with supervisors and other contractors is essential to meet project schedules and quality benchmarks.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Capability to handle multiple paint types and coatings, including mixing, applying, and cleaning.
- Expertise in painting and decorating techniques such as surface preparation, color application, and detailed finishing.
- Experience in general painting tasks on both interior and exterior surfaces in diverse building types.
- Proficient in spray painting methods for effective and uniform application across surfaces.
- Understanding and implementation of safety measures, including correct use of personal protective equipment and safe material handling.
- Physical stamina to stand, climb, lift, and perform manual labor for long durations.
- Strong attention to accuracy and quality, committed to clean, professional finishes delivered within deadlines.
- Previous experience in painting or related construction trades; vocational certifications are an added advantage.
