Building Manager

Overview

Our client, a well-established company dedicated to ensuring effective and reliable business operations with emphasis on high quality, safety, and professionalism, is recruiting a competent Building Manager. This individual will be responsible for overseeing the proper upkeep, safety, and operational efficiency of its commercial premises, including all associated equipment and systems.

Key Duties

• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on building infrastructure and equipment.
• Manage repairs and servicing of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, mechanical, lighting, and general maintenance issues.
• Track building systems, report irregularities, and identify safety risks proactively.
• Maintain structural elements such as doors, locks, windows, ceilings, walls, floors, and fixtures.
• Inspect and ensure proper functioning of pumps, generators, air conditioning, water systems, fire protection devices, and other installed machinery.
• Respond quickly to maintenance requests from tenants, staff, and management teams.

Required Qualifications

• Experience relevant to commercial building or facilities maintenance.
• Hands-on knowledge covering electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC, and general building systems.
• Capable of safely operating maintenance tools and test instruments.
• Understanding of occupational health and safety protocols.
• Familiarity with maintenance scheduling, work orders, and service documentation is beneficial.
• Strong aptitude for troubleshooting and resolving technical problems.
• Good practical skills and technical competence.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Effective communication and customer service abilities.
