Building Maintenance Worker

Job Overview

This position is based in Nampa, Alberta, Canada, requiring on-site work without the possibility of remote work. The role involves general maintenance duties essential to keeping the facility in clean and operational condition.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, scrub, and apply wax to hallways, floors, and stairs to maintain cleanliness and appearance.
• Use industrial vacuum cleaners effectively to clear away scraps, dirt, heavy debris, and other refuse.
• Regularly empty trash receptacles and other waste containers to ensure proper waste management.
• Perform minor repairs and adjustments to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems; escalate major repair issues to tradespersons.
• Coordinate with external contractors for required repairs and ongoing maintenance within the facility.
• Operate independently with minimal supervision to complete assigned tasks efficiently.

Requirements

• Completion of secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• No prior experience required as training will be provided for successful candidates.
• Proficiency in English language is necessary to perform job functions and communicate effectively.
