Role Overview

We seek a Builder Community Manager to enhance and activate developer ecosystems across the Asia-Pacific and Japan (APJ) region, preferably based in Singapore. This role demands high ownership and strong execution skills as you will represent Nebius locally, engage directly with developers, founders, and partners, and nurture a vibrant and involved community.

Reporting to the Head of Builder Community, you will collaborate closely with regional community managers, digital marketing, developer relations, developer advocates, product marketing, and the broader ecosystem team.

Primary Responsibilities

• Identify, build, and expand a top-tier local developer community comprising AI builders, engineers, and technical founders.
• Map key hubs, communities, and influential individuals within your region to establish Nebius as a credible, valued presence.
• Serve as the local ambassador for Nebius at events, meetups, and throughout the developer ecosystem.
• Organize and deliver practical, hands-on meetups, workshops, hackathons, and community activities prioritizing builder engagement rather than formal presentations.
• Forge partnerships with local startups, venture capitalists, universities, and development groups.
• Foster ongoing interactions within community platforms such as Discord, Slack, and Telegram to convert participants into recurring contributors and champions.
• Develop and scale repeatable community programs like ambassador initiatives, regular meetups, and builder cohorts, including creating reusable playbooks and continuously refining formats.
• Collect and convey community feedback to the product, marketing, and leadership teams to spot trends, developer needs, and new opportunities, influencing global developer engagement strategies.

Candidate Profile

• Between five to seven or more years of experience in community management, developer marketing, event planning, or ecosystem development roles.
• Deep understanding of developer audiences, preferably within AI/ML, infrastructure, or related fields.
• Proven track record running ambassador or grassroots community programs successfully.
• Strong execution mindset capable of swiftly transforming concepts into concrete events and measurable outcomes.
• Established local network or the ability to develop one rapidly.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities.
• Confidence in acting as the public face of a brand within your region.
• Ability to collaborate in a globally distributed team with flexible availability for meetings across US, European, and APAC time zones.

Preferred Qualifications

• Technical background or familiarity with AI and developer tools.
• Experience working with startups or within developer ecosystem environments.
