Buco Coordinator

Job Overview

This role involves managing the carpet tile packout line activities, encompassing tasks such as repairing carpets, confirming styles, coding, and counting goods accurately.

Key Responsibilities

• Transport full stacks of tiles from one station to the feed table by lifting.
• Supervise line operations to prevent any mislabeling of cartons or pallets.
• Manage style changeovers and ensure the line is completely cleared before starting a new style.
• Utilize the CAMS AS400 system for duties including waste entry, style validation, and tracking the press schedule.
• Perform precise counting and coding of all defective tiles.
• Identify and resolve operational problems with equipment such as stackers, conveyor lines, tamper, top & bottom boxers, robot stacker, and pallet indexer.

Qualifications and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Familiarity with the CAMS AS400 system is required.
• Successful completion of the Munsell Color Test is mandatory.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills are necessary.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, is preferred.
• Prior experience in a comparable role is advantageous.
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision is essential.

Physical and Other Requirements

• Capability to sit or stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry weights up to 80 pounds.
• Frequent repetitive motions involving computer use and operation of packout line controls.
• Willingness to work overtime as required.
• Capability to perform effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
• Immediate reporting of any workplace accidents is required.
