Job description

Job Summary

The Breakfast Attendant plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by preparing and managing the complimentary breakfast buffet in a hotel setting. This role involves setting up, maintaining, and dismantling the breakfast area, ensuring that food quality and service uphold the brand's standards, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work early morning shifts from 5:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays to fulfill all assigned duties.
  • Prepare all breakfast food items to meet quality and taste expectations.
  • Maintain the breakfast area, ensuring it reflects the brand standards and provides an enjoyable experience.
  • Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to solicit feedback, address concerns, and communicate any issues to management.
  • Manage inventory and supplies related to breakfast service, including ordering food and cooking supplies as needed.
  • Anticipate and promptly respond to guest needs at all times.
  • Collaborate positively with all hotel departments to foster a productive work environment.
  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of the working environment throughout the shift.
  • Wear the designated uniform and represent the hotel’s commitment to genuine hospitality.
  • Follow all hotel policies, house rules, and attend necessary meetings and training sessions to improve service standards.
  • Perform any additional duties contributing to the hotel's positive culture and success.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is required.
  • Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
  • Capability to work independently and perform all responsibilities efficiently.
