Job Summary
The Breakfast Attendant plays a vital role in delivering an exceptional guest experience by preparing and managing the complimentary breakfast buffet in a hotel setting. This role involves setting up, maintaining, and dismantling the breakfast area, ensuring that food quality and service uphold the brand's standards, and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
Key Responsibilities
- Work early morning shifts from 5:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays to fulfill all assigned duties.
- Prepare all breakfast food items to meet quality and taste expectations.
- Maintain the breakfast area, ensuring it reflects the brand standards and provides an enjoyable experience.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner to solicit feedback, address concerns, and communicate any issues to management.
- Manage inventory and supplies related to breakfast service, including ordering food and cooking supplies as needed.
- Anticipate and promptly respond to guest needs at all times.
- Collaborate positively with all hotel departments to foster a productive work environment.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the working environment throughout the shift.
- Wear the designated uniform and represent the hotel’s commitment to genuine hospitality.
- Follow all hotel policies, house rules, and attend necessary meetings and training sessions to improve service standards.
- Perform any additional duties contributing to the hotel's positive culture and success.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Capability to work independently and perform all responsibilities efficiently.
