About the Role
This is a unique leadership opportunity to head one of New Zealand's leading on-and-off highway operations at Penske New Zealand's Auckland branch. The location is a modern, purpose-built facility housing service, parts, and sales under one roof, well-equipped to drive growth across diverse sectors such as heavy transport, marine, rail, defence, and power generation.
Key Responsibilities
- Expand business growth by utilizing established networks within existing and emerging markets.
- Enhance market presence and cultivate strong customer relationships.
- Drive sales growth and maximize profitability across all operational segments.
- Ensure efficient and effective management of a complex multi-functional branch.
- Lead and develop a high-performing, engaged, and collaborative team culture.
- Mentor and nurture future leaders within the organization.
- Promote employee engagement, wellbeing, and workplace safety.
- Contribute actively to the New Zealand leadership team.
Candidate Profile
- Proven leadership experience as a Branch Manager, Operations Manager, General Manager or similar role.
- Strong industry credibility and connections in on-highway and/or off-highway sectors.
- Track record of meeting sales, profitability, and business growth objectives.
- Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building expertise.
- Combination of strategic vision and operational execution skills.
- Leadership style that fosters trust, accountability, and high team performance.
- Commitment to people development and cultivating a positive work environment.
