Job description
Role Overview
The Boutique Manager will lead the Longines boutique to deliver outstanding sales results, exceptional client services, and uphold the brand’s esteemed reputation. This role demands driving commercial success, cultivating customer relationships, mentoring the boutique team, and ensuring flawless boutique operations, all while embodying Longines’ heritage and values.
Primary Responsibilities
- Surpass boutique sales targets, KPIs, and profitability goals by regularly tracking sales metrics like conversion rates, average transaction values, and units sold per transaction.
- Interpret sales data, market trends, and customer insights to identify new growth avenues and implement action plans to optimize business performance.
- Enhance client acquisition and retention strategies, delivering memorable customer experiences aligned with Longines’ craftsmanship and legacy.
- Develop strong, lasting relationships with VIP and loyal customers through effective clienteling and CRM programs, ensuring prompt follow-up on inquiries and after-sales services.
- Lead, motivate, and develop team members by conducting performance reviews, coaching, recruitment, onboarding, and training to foster a culture of accountability and teamwork.
- Manage daily boutique operations including inventory control, cash handling, staff scheduling, security procedures, and maintain operational standards and asset protection measures.
- Implement Longines visual merchandising standards, maintain boutique appearance, and support marketing campaigns and product launches to ensure alignment with brand image.
- Prepare and analyze boutique performance and KPI reports, provide updates to the Brand Manager, participate in budgeting and sales planning, and suggest improvements to boost efficiency and sales.
Performance Metrics
- Boutique sales achievement and growth percentages.
- Conversion rates, average transaction value (ATV), and units per transaction (UPT).
- Client acquisition, CRM data quality, repeat customer rates, and VIP client retention.
- Team sales performance, employee retention, training completion, and evaluation processes.
- Inventory accuracy, audit compliance, stock loss prevention, and adherence to boutique standards.
- Customer satisfaction, mystery shopper evaluations, service quality, and complaint resolution.
Decision Authority
- Oversees all daily boutique operations and team assignments.
- Allocates boutique resources and responsibilities efficiently.
- Recommends hiring, promotions, and staff development actions.
- Approves routine operational decisions within the set authority limits.
- Escalates significant commercial matters per company guidelines.
- Leads corrective measures addressing sales, operational, and customer service issues.
Qualifications & Experience
- Preferably holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Management, Marketing, or a related discipline.
- At least 8 years’ experience in retail, including a proven track record of leadership success.
- Experience in luxury retail sectors such as watches, jewelry, or premium goods is advantageous.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and people management abilities.
- Strong commercial insight and expertise in sales management.
- Experience using retail management systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are preferred.
