Role Overview
Join the dedicated team at Qscan Group in Queensland as a Bone Mineral Densitometry Technician, where you will work directly with patients performing high-quality DXA (DEXA) scans in a compassionate and professional environment. Qscan Group offers the opportunity to contribute to a network of advanced diagnostic imaging clinics with a patient-centered approach.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct BMD examinations while ensuring patients feel comfortable, informed, and well cared for throughout appointments.
- Confirm patient identity and complete necessary safety screenings prior to scans.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to clinical, safety, and quality standards.
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technical staff, reception personnel, and clinic managers.
- Support daily clinic operations smoothly alongside experienced clerical and clinical teams using modern technology.
- Fulfil work assignments across the Burleigh and other Gold Coast area clinics as required.
Candidate Profile
- Previous experience operating DEXA scanning equipment.
- Current AHPRA registration is mandatory.
- Possession of a Queensland Radiation Use Licence or ability to obtain one.
- Strong communication skills with a focus on patient care and reassurance.
- Capable of working autonomously and within collaborative team settings.
