Position Overview
We are looking to welcome a dedicated and patient-oriented Bone Mineral Densitometry (BMD) Technician to join our Gold Coast team. This role offers a rewarding opportunity for someone who enjoys working closely with patients and delivering high-quality service in a supportive clinical setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct BMD examinations ensuring patients remain comfortable, informed, and reassured throughout their appointments.
- Verify patient information and perform necessary safety screenings.
- Maintain meticulous clinical documentation and adhere to established clinical, safety, and quality protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technical staff, receptionists, and practice managers to support seamless clinic operations.
- Contribute to the day-to-day functionality and efficiency of the clinic environment.
Candidate Profile
- Prior experience performing DEXA scans is essential.
- Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
- Hold or be capable of obtaining a Queensland Radiation Use Licence.
- Excellent communication skills paired with a strong commitment to patient care.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a cooperative team.
