Boardroom Waiter

Role Overview

Join the Catering team based in Perth as a Boardroom Waiter, collaborating closely with the Front of House team within the broader Business Operations Department that also includes Concierge, Records Management, and Facilities Management. This role involves delivering innovative and trendy food options to enhance client experiences across a range of events, from formal breakfasts, lunches, and dinners to cocktail canapés and corporate seminars.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver professional, high-standard corporate waiting services for all boardroom bookings and events.
• Offer exceptional customer service to clients and Allens employees alike.
• Maintain cleanliness and professional presentation of dining areas, boardrooms, and internal kitchens.
• Assist in dishwashing and general cleaning duties.
• Prepare and serve premium quality coffee to clients and staff.
• Organize and execute catering services for internal and external functions.
• Efficiently clear and refresh dining areas after events conclude.
• Ensure workspaces are tidy, including regular cleaning of coffee machines, stocking dishes, and checking service items for damage or suitability.
• Monitor inventory levels of consumables and service items in kitchens, dining spaces, and boardrooms.
• Provide training for new staff members as required.
• Support the team by undertaking basic administrative tasks.

Work Schedule

This is a permanent full-time position featuring a rotating schedule with two shifts: 7:30am to 4pm and 8:30am to 5pm, subject to change.

Candidate Profile

• Ability to perform well under pressure in busy environments.
• Team-oriented with experience delivering excellent customer service to diverse clients.
• Holding a current Responsible Service of Alcohol certification is advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of both local and international food and wine varieties is highly preferred.
• Some experience with administrative duties is desirable.
• Motivated to learn, grow professionally, network effectively, and mentor colleagues.
